My Complete Routine Hair extensions
In the mood to switch up your hairstyle? Our hair extensions can instantly add volume, body, and length to your natural locks. Well, the first step is deciding the application or method of extensions you'll need to get your desired look at a price that fits your budget, your lifestyle and routine.
Our extension specialist will have a consultation with you to determine which method you are.
There are countless types of hair extensions—including bonded, weave, tape-in, clip-in, and wig—and pretty much all of them most are available in natural hair, synthetic fiber hair, or a mix of both.
Lets discuss the difference between:
Synthetic hair Vs Human hair.
Synthetic hair is fake hair strands made out of man-made fibers like acrylic or nylon. The fibers are put through various chemical processes to give them a similar look, feel, colour, and styling capability as human hair. Synthetic will defiantly keep costs down, great for one-offs, event hair or for somebody wanting to get a taster for hair extensions without committing to mainstream prices. However, the low price does have some drawbacks in the quality of the hair you will receive with synthetic, the durability and flexibility with this hair is pretty rigid but when your paying as little as £9.99, this should be expected.
However, human hair extensions will last much longer, be more seamless and discreetly blend in with your own natural hair. Since most human hair extensions come from live human beings, the hair instantly blends with your own locks, collected mostly in India (especially southern India), Malaysia, Cambodia, and China.
Let’s dig deeper into our ethically sourced hair extensions.
A question being asked more and more frequently due to consumers becoming more conscious of their purchases, is about ethicality. Many of us are reducing plastic, shopping organic, and concerned about the environment, and therefore as a hair extension wearer it is only natural to question how your hair is sourced.
Due to The Hair Extension Industry being Unregulated, it was hugely important to us to find a supplier who was honest, and valued its staff and donors. We wanted to ensure that we were not only producing the highest quality hair, but that it was also coming from an ethical source.
We are fortunate enough to work with a wonderful factory, who process our Indian hair, retaining its beautiful quality. It is important to understand that hair is sourced globally, as it is very easy to become mislead into paying a premium for hair that is not always as it seems.
Our Hair Comes From A Single Donor & Seller.
This is the most ethical and highest quality method to source from a single donor. This means that many sets of hair extensions will be from a single donor, rather than a mix of different donors. Think of it like buying a single ponytail, as this is effectively how your hair extensions start their journey. Unfortunately, not all manufacturers will source from single donors, and will instead increase their own profit margins by sourcing “fallen” hair. This is hair that is found in hair brushes and on salon floors. It is low quality as the hair is not remy, and its origin cannot be known for sure. Some manufacturers are even known to mix fallen hair with synthetic hair, and this is truly the lowest quality. Our hair extensions are sourced 100% from single donors. It is how we can ensure that our hair extensions are of the highest quality, and it is also how we can ensure that the origin to known. We have worked closely with them to ensure that this is done via ethical means.
It is also very important to us that the hair is produced by workers who are treated and paid fairly, have suitable working conditions. Our team have visited our factory to witness first hand the conditions in which our team are working in, and can assure you that they are of a very high standard. Clean, well looked after, and happy, staff are paid a fair wage, and are not overworked, something which is unfortunately all too common. We are incredibly proud of our hair! We continue to work hard to ensure the quality of our hair is the highest industry standard.
Which method of hair extensions we offer in-salon and what should work for you:
Human hair methods:
Should you want something more fixated and permanent, you should go for:
Tapes
Bonded micro/nano rings
Wefts
However, if your new to extensions and want the flexibility to remove and trial them, go for:
Clip-ins
Wig
These methods are attachable and detachable. The clip-ins go over your own hair by small snap clips. The clips we use are high quality clips with a silicone insert so they will not slip or damage your hair and are extremely secure. Once fitted you will not be able to see the clips.
If the highest-quality option is what you're after, your want our brand that uses Remy, human hair that has its cuticles intact and has never been dyed or processed in any way. Pro tip: Once you've made your choice, Ritzys suggests having your extensions cut or coloured by your stylist to achieve the finished look.
To help you find the best hair extensions, we conducted hours of research, evaluating hair extensions based on the type of hair, shade range, number of wefts, and overall quality over the years. After consulting two pro hairstylists and researching the top options on the market for every hair color, length, and texture, we landed on My Complete Routine.
My Complete Routine human hair extensions can be clipped-in, sewed in or installed in with micro rings: 250G 100% HUMAN HAIR GRADE MY COMPLETE ROUTINE HAIR EXTENSIONS.
Ready-to-wear hair extensions that can give you longer and thicker hair in minutes. All of our extensions are made from 100% Remy human hair, which is the highest quality of real human hair available on the market. In the world of hair extensions, My Complete Routine has long been a household name because it offers 100 percent certified Remy hair. Treat the hair like your own, style them, cut them and colour. The strand quality is top-tier, and there are options for every styling need: bangs, ponytails, long-length clip-ins, sew-in, tape-in, and other bonded varieties. There's also an extensive range of shades available. And if you're unsure about shade matching, we invite you in for a colour match consultation. Super easy to install if you start with the right cut. Anyone with thick hair should avoid starting from a blunt bob or short cut when trying to achieve a long length and avoid a choppy-looking extension. The best way to blend extensions is to razor-cut or thin out ends. This helps the extensions and your natural hair blend seamlessly.
Our FAQ:
WHAT DOES 100% REAL HUMAN REMY HAIR MEAN?
100% Real Remy Human hair is basically the best of the best when it comes to hair extensions. ‘Remy’ refers to hair where the cuticle is left intact and all facing the same direction, so the hair looks as healthy and shiny as possible. This is important, because not all human hair is remy hair. An added bonus is that Remy hair remains tangle free for its life span and blends seamlessly into natural hair.
CAN I SLEEP WITH HAIR EXTENSIONS?
We recommend to not sleep with clip-in hair extensions in as it would be uncomfortable for you and could damage both your hair extensions and natural hair. Our clip-in extensions have been designed to easily clip in and out, so you can take them out quickly before going to sleep!
WHERE DO MY COMPLETE ROUTINE HAIR EXTENSIONS COME FROM?
All of our hair extensions are ethically sourced from certified hair suppliers. My Complete Routine source raw human hair extensions from all over the world. Our partners have over 25 years worth of experience and source our raw hair from Malaysia, Vietnam, Mongolia, India and China, depending on the product range. When it comes to hair extensions, you definitely pay for the quality you get.
HOW DO YOU COLOUR MATCH CLIP-IN HAIR EXTENSIONS?
A top tip for choosing the right colour of hair extensions is to match your hair colour closest to the mid lengths to ends of the hair, instead of the root. Our 100% Remy Human hair is hand coloured, which adds depth to every set. This means you're more likely to get a natural blend. My Complete Routine also offer colour swatches, so you can try before you buy. If you're still unsure about your shade, connect with our team to find your match.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OUR HAIR EXTENSION SETS?
The difference is the length and weight (thickness). We have a range of lengths and weights to suit all natural hair types. All our extensions are the same high quality. If your hair is fine and a shorter length should be suitable for you, these sets are suited to finer hair and will add volume & length in a natural way. This range is available in the following sets; 14" 120g, 16" 150g, 18" 130g and 20" 160g. If your hair is fine/med and you are looking for more volume as well as some length we recommend our Deluxe range, these sets provide even more hair. It will also blend in with naturally thick hair and create lots of volume for all hair types. This range is available in 18" 180g or 20" 200g. If you like your hair extra thick and want more length then the 250 grams Superior set is for you, this will work with Med/thick hair types on short or long hair. If you are wanting that statement look our Luxurious range will add extreme thickness and length to naturally Med/thick hair. Our Luxurious range is available in 24" 280g and 26" 300g.
CAN THE HAIR EXTENSIONS BE STRAIGHTENED OR CURLED?
Treat the hair as if it is your own. Use a flat iron/straightener or tongs, even when fitted, but as with your own hair, never use hot tools too often as you could dry the hair and it will not last as long. We do not recommend using hot tools that are higher than 170°C. We highly recommend using a heat protectant before using hot tools.
CAN I COLOUR/TONE THE HAIR EXTENSIONS?
The hair can be coloured or toned if required. As a general rule it is easier to darken the hair than to lighten the hair. Blonde hair has been bleached more so more caution must be taken when carrying out a dying / toning process. This includes using toning shampoos (silver/purple shampoo/conditioner). We highly recommend having your hairdresser dye / tone the extensions as you will get the results you want, colouring or toning the hair always poses a high risk of not coming out the shade you want. We do not advise attempting to colour the silicone tops as this may damage the silicone. Always test a small sample first & wash the hair prior to dying. We do not recommend bleaching the hair. Please note that dying or toning the extensions is done so at your own risk and voids any chance of return. This includes using purple/silver shampoos/conditioners.
CAN I WASH AND CONDITION MY HAIR EXTENSIONS?
You can wash them as you would your own with Shampoo and conditioner. We also recommend using a hair treatment on them every few weeks such as a hair mask, because the hair is not attached to your scalp it is not getting the oils it should be. Using a treatment/hair mask will help keep them looking healthier and shiny for longer! You will find that you don't need to wash your extensions too much, about every 3 weeks. The extensions can be blow-dryed, but it is not recommended to do it too often. It is best to let your hair extensions dry naturally after washing them.
We offer an amazing shampoo & conditioner that was designed with hair extensions in mind - extremely nourishing & highly scented.
We also recommend using a drop of our Argan Oil once a week or after washing (on damp hair).
